Medicine Is a Science of Uncertainity and Art of Probability
Welcome to my first post! I thought I might update you on why I am doing this projection!
I am currently a educatee at Western Kentucky University! This semester I am taking an English language 300 course taught by Dr. Elliot. For our semester projection nosotros were told to choice a subject in our field of report and basically due an in-depth study of something that we are interested in. If I am existence honest, when I showtime heard virtually this project I literally started dreading it. I take done long extended research papers before and take hated them. I don't take much conviction in my formal writing skills and most of the time the topics we are told to enquiry for an English or history classes practise not interest me at all (you can but imagine how much I dread these types of assignments.) Fortunately, Dr. Elliot gave us more freedom on this project.
When I presented him with my problem of not wanting to write an entire research newspaper, he asked me what I liked to do and how could I brand that a way I presented my projection. As I sat there and though about information technology, I thought, "I love talking." I know, that probably doesn't come to a surprise to you lot if you lot know me at all. I then preceded to tell him that I participated in speech communication competitions in high school and I would love if I somehow could do something like that for my project. He quickly offered up the thought that I could record a podcast on the topic for my study expanse.
Which is what brings us to right at present. I have decided to explore the world of medical discoveries/projects and podcasts. The side by side few posts volition exist my progress up to my last podcast. They will include my study plans and the things that I struggled with and succeeded with along the style. I hope you bask learning with me forth the style, it should exist a fun, but interesting journey. Thanks for visiting, I hope you follow the rest of my progress.

Every bit our population grows at an abundant rate then does our demand for admission to blood. Scientists, for years, have been studying up on how we can create a sustainable source for blood transfusions. A team in Great britain has had a pause through in their written report and CNN reported on it. Here is my podcast reviewing the data and explaining why this is so important for our futurity. Here is the link for the commodity:
Is it possible to share a kidney with a pig? In this podcast I talk near the research that is being done in Xenotransplantation and how it could affect the upwards and coming medical field. Hope you savor.

Inquiry Plan: February 27- March 6
Inquiry topic:
- Discover reliable sources for Robotic Limbs and Blood Transfusion topics
- Google scholar
- WKU databases
- Google deep search
- Narrow down my studies
- Stem prison cell treatment
- Blood transfusions
- Genetic research
- robotic limbs research
- Continue to look more into podcasts
- See how they are structured: enquiry the things that I need to report upwardly to start podcasts
- Take notes on what I like and don't similar about the podcasts I listen to
- Start experimenting (didn't do this concluding week)
- 5 episodes
- start to brand outlines for each one if yous take time
Reflection:
I have started to listen to a few podcasts to try and learn how I want my intros and ending to go. I also started to play effectually with wordpress a footling to starting time and figure out how I can use information technology. I think I use that as my hosting site or at least use it to postal service the link to the podcast. I demand to start looking at what software I should use for the creation of the podcasts. I need the software to be free and like shooting fish in a barrel to use, and then I will read some reviews and maybe showtime messing around with information technology. I continued to look up research. I am having a hard time with finding information (or at to the lowest degree large amounts of inquiry) since they are such new topics. I am non the best at using the WKU database, but I judge skill comes with experience so I will practice more and hopefully go better at doing more narrow searches. Though I got a trivial behind this week, I am not too worried.
